2019 Charity Golf Classic in Support of Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation
August 2019 – The weather was perfect for the players to get out of the office for the day and take in the breathtaking view at the Deer Valley Golf Club while raising funds for the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The 14th annual RE/MAX Charity Golf Classic is in the books as the event wrapped up on Friday, August 16.
We concluded the night’s program by announcing the cheque presentation and silent auction winners. With the help of everyone involved, after the final count, we were able to raise over $25 thousand for the Foundation.

How CMN Hospitals Works
More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like your local children’s hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
RE/MAX agents believe in investing in the future of Canadian children. RE/MAX associates who display the Miracle Home sign rider on the property listed are committed to helping local hospitalized children. The RE/MAX associate has voluntarily pledged a portion of their income from the sale of that home to the Children’s Miracle Network and its 14 member hospitals closest to their community.
RE/MAX associates are very active in their communities and volunteer and hold fundraising events for the Children’s Miracle Network and countless other causes all year long. In fact, every August RE/MAX celebrates a Month of Miracles, whereby we especially thank our clients for helping us raise over $56 million in Canada to help over 2.6 million sick and injured children every year treated at a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital. All fund raised by participating RE/MAX associates are sent directly the children’s hospital.
WHL Suits Up with Don Cherry to Promote Organ Donation, Raises over $265,500
The Western Hockey League, in partnership with RE/MAX, is proud to announce that over $265,500 has been raised through the “RE/MAX Presents: WHL Suits Up with Don Cherry to Promote Organ Donation” campaign, hosted during the months of October and March during the 2017-18 WHL Regular Season.
WHL fans embraced the new program through the purchase of special Don Cherry suit-themed jerseys and by registering to be organ donors at CanadaDonates.ca. The $265,500 raised is the Kidney Foundation of Canada’s largest public awareness and fundraising campaign for organ donation.
Stache Bash – Movember Foundation
November 2019 – A group of RE/MAX Crown Real Estate Staff and Agents decided to participate in Movember by organizing a fundraisier event in support of men’s health. The night was a huge success as family and friends enjoyed their steaks, visited, played arcade games, purchased 50/50 tickets, and participated in our fun mini tournaments. With funds from the event and generous donations, team Stache Bash was able to raise over $4,000!
RE/MAX Quest For Excellence
The Quest for Excellence program is a bursary program for grade 12 students in Western Canada. It was established by RE/MAX of Western Canada to recognize the success and ongoing pursuits of Western Canadian students in regards to leadership and community contribution initiatives.
Every year, RE/MAX of Western Canada awards 16 deserving students a $1,000 bursary each to help further their education.
RE/MAX Quest for Excellence program opens every September and run until March of the following year.
