RE/MAX sales rep rides 28,000km for “Motorcycle for Miracles”

Bruce Johnson, a RE/MAX sales representative, and his daughter hit the road by motorcycle in August on a months-long journey called “Motorcycle for Miracles” to raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN).
CMN in a nonprofit organization that raises funds for a network of 170 partner hospitals across North America.
The pair began their trip on the shores of the Arctic Ocean, and traveled 28,000km across 14 countries through North, Central and South America, ending their trip in Ushuaia, Argentina on Dec. 31.
Johnson’s inspiration to raise funds for CMN stems from the tragic passing of his first child, Alyssa Rae, who spent 20 days at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Ontario.
“When Alyssa got sick and she passed away, [CMN] really put their angel wings around us to insulate us from as much bad as they could,” Johnson told CBS News. “They helped us heal.”
This is the third father-daughter trip to raise funds for CMN (specifically SickKids) since 2013, raising $107 thousand in 2013, and $192 thousand in 2016.
To date, the duo has raised more than $575 thousand over their three journeys.
RE/MAX Crown Real Estate also proudly donates to CMN. Known as a “Miracle Office,” every agent in our office donates a portion of their commission to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation, a partner of CMN, to raise funds for Saskatchewan’s sick and injured youth.
In 2016 during his second journey, Johnson made a stop in the Queen City to visit our office. See the pictures below!
